Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of technology support experience with enterprise software voice and data solutions, demonstrated exceptional professionalism under pressure assisting high profile customers to resolve and document software and system issues.  Requires troubleshooting skills with software, hardware configurations, drivers, integrations, networks, cabling, security and telephony.  Microsoft, Cisco voice or Network Essentials certifications desired. SQL knowledge a plus.  After training, position may travel domestically for additional training or to perform onsite installs at customer sites.   Position is based at our Camarillo, CA corporate office.

Bi-lingual Spanish and some supervisory experience would be considered valuable to this position and to potential growth within the company.

Installation Engineer - Level II/III

Experienced Installation Engineer sought for enterprise, award-winning software solution leader.   Requires 4+ years of technology support experience with installing and configuring voice and data technology solutions.  After training, the position requires 50-60% domestic travel to install integrated software solutions to public safety customers and commercial enterprises.  When not travelling, VPI Installers will assist with escalated help desk support calls, troubleshooting software, hardware, network and telephony issues, providing solutions and documenting results.  May also assist with training other support technicians.

Requires self-sufficiency in the field and a working knowledge of server/workstation platforms, operating systems, networking principles, domain/workgroup architectures, network security, user rights and permissions, and basic telephony.  Experience with SQL, IIS, VMware and/or Call Center environments is desired.  Equally important as the technical job requirements is the ability to show professionalism under pressure and flourish in a customer-facing position.

The ideal candidate will have a BS degree in a computer-related or technical field.  Certifications from Microsoft, Cisco or Network Essentials are valued in this role.

The position is located at our Camarillo, CA corporate office, but we will consider a telecommuting situation for a qualified candidate.

Product Manager-Integrations

 VPI is seeking an experienced Integrations Product Manager to play a key role in the direction of VPI’s core Voice Recording product applications, VPI application and telephony Integrations, and VPI core product Road Map Strategies.  Reporting to the senior product manager, the Integrations Product Manager will participate in the development and review of product feature set specification requirements, and provide sales engineering support for pre-sales solutions.   Additional responsibilities include research and evaluation of new product ideas, assisting in business case development, and feasibility and use case scenarios.

The successful candidate will possess a unique blend of business and technical expertise in areas of telephony and contact center applications along with strong interpersonal and communication skills in order to work closely with technology partners, CEO, Sales and Marketing executives, Engineering teams, and other internal personnel.  

Requirements include a BS Degree in Computer Science and 5+ years of telephony and contact center software integrations, technical marketing or sales engineering experience, solid understanding of telecommunications field, telephone system principles and associated wiring, exceptional customer service and business management skills, public speaking and presentation experience.  Knowledge of TCP\IP Suite Protocols (OSI) is a must.

This position requires approximately 15% travel to partner and customer sites.

Solutions Consultant - Professional Services - CA

VPI needs an experienced Solutions Consultant for our Professional Services group to support enterprise customers throughout custom data integration and training projects.  The successful Solutions Consultant will instill customer confidence in the development and implementation of a variety of VPI Business Intelligence solution integrations through his or her knowledge, professional communications skills, experience and ability to straddle the customer’s business requirements and technology implementations.    The Solutions Consultant will 'own' the design of all functional and technical aspects of an analytics solution and work closely with VPI’s sales executive team in pre-sales activities and RFP opportunities.

This position is based in our Camarillo, CA corporate office and requires 3+ years of experience as a business intelligence or analytics consultant for an enterprise software company, ideally with contact center applications, a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Systems, and superior English language skills.  HTML, Javascript, XML and/or SQL experience highly desired.   Ideal candidates will have a consultative approach, customer facing experience, experience designing and delivering effective technical training programs, ability to effectively communicate at all levels of an organization, and be willing to travel nationally.
