What type of security is provided? Is individual password security provided? How is access to specific drives, channels, and setup operations controlled?

The system provides multiple levels of security including roles based and/or user-specific access rights down to the channel level. System will allow an authorized access to selected recording audio and other system functions from both the server/recorder and a remote client station, to the extent specified by the system administrator.

Can user alarms be configured by the software? How?

We provide several different user alarms in our software: a visual and audible alarm (horrible sound!), e-mail, and page to the System Administrator. Systems administrator can configure the system for any of these options, where different system conditions may result in different types of alarms, routed to different personnel as needed.
