ShoreTel Call Recording and Quality Monitoring

VPI CAPTURE software-based ShoreTel call recording solution offers a cost effective method of capturing audio and data using SPAN interface, recording VoIP calls by collecting the Real-time Transport Protocol (RTP) voice packets bound for the agents’ IP telephones or softphones. This method is very advantageous for hybrid or transitional environments - both ShoreTel Communicator and other digital, analog, and/or IP audio inputs may be recorded via the same VPI recording server.

All recordings are captured, stored and accessed in open, standardized file formats, regardless of their source – in this manner VPI supports efficient, pain-free hybrid or transitional call recording implementations, combining both, TDM and VoIP communications. Data such as Start Date/Time of Recording, Call Duration, Number Dialed/Caller ID, Extension and others are captured by the VPI ShoreTel IP call recording software from ShoreTel system and stored with the call record. This provides enhanced search criteria for faster, more efficient call retrieval, more insightful reporting, and better focused quality monitoring.

ShoreTel Enterprise Mobility Call Recording

VPI CAPTURE ShoreTel IP call recording software delivers the ability to capture voice and data transmitted from ShoreTel Mobility, captured directly from Mobility Router without having to access the RTP packets directly to record calls.  VPI recording solution enables businesses to unify recording of Smartphones and tablets (Android, Apple iOS, BlackBerry OS, Symbian/Nokia) with existing enterprise communication applications and PBX infrastructure (Avaya, Cisco, Microsoft, Nortel, ShoreTel) securely.

With an increasingly mobile workplace, rapid growth in the use of Smartphones and other mobile devices in the corporate world and new Financial Services Authority (FSA) and Dodd-Frank regulatory compliance requirements, mobile call recording is quickly becoming an integral part of corporate call recording standards.
